We opened our first salon in Beverly Hills in 1985. Immediately it was a success. Twenty five years later, we have become a cornerstone to one of the most recognizable and prestigious shopping districts in the world. Over the years, we have proven to be a company on the forefront of change. As the exterior maintains its crisp white storefront with the iconic silver Cristophe logo, the interior has gone from a warm Tuscan style decor to a modern, minimalist design. We are home to over forty stylists, colorists, and make-up artists, all of which are dedicated to providing the clients with the best possible experience.
In 1992, we opened our second salon in Washington DC. The core principles that direct our business in Beverly Hills are identical in Washington DC. The expertise and professionalism of the team in the nation's capitol is such that the salon has become part of the social fabric in this location.
We opened our third salon in 1994 in Saint Barths (French West Indies) adapting our techniques to the island lifestyle.
Success followed In 1997. We launched our first line of product with QVC. As a result of this venture, we gained experience in manufacturing and consumerism.
In 1999, we opened our fourth salon in Orange County, California. Our salon was located in the prestigious Fashion Island Mall. This location taught us the pros and cons of operating salons in malls.
In 2004, we opened our fifth salon at the world-renowned MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. We gained knowledge of the hospitality businesses' relationship to the beauty and hair care salons.
In 2004, we launched our CRISTOPHE BEVERLY HILLS™ brand. Our goal was to provide mass markets with prestigious branding. That concept is known in the industry as masstige. Our pioneering in that field has paid off so far. Indeed, CRISTOPHE™ products are currently distributed throughout the US in more than 7,600 outlets..
